Vipp Shelter: a livable industrial object
This minimalist and compact shelter is a prefab designed and built in Copenhagen by the Danish Vipp studio.
With an area of 55 square meters and its transparent walls this shelter is perfectly integrated into the landscape and it offers stunning views that immediately puts the occupants in direct contact with nature.
The house is designed as a livable industrial object, as you can see it consists of a simple grid steel structure that supports the two levels and the interiors are completed with the company’s forniture in order to give a strong sense of unity and identity.
Does it reminds you of Mies Van Der Rohe’s “less is more”? Yes it clearly does.
The house can be ordered and built anywhere, you just have to wait six months and pay about half a million Euros.
